Isn't that good news? God has already given us ALL spiritual blessings and we find them in Christ! We don't have to sweat and labor to get His favor - He's already lavished that upon us through His Only Begotten Son, Jesus. What life and liberty there is in discovering that He has made possible for us what HE wants us to have! Phillipians 4:13 tells us that I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME. So...if God said we can do all things through Christ, then that means GOD Himself wants to do all things (a/k/a the "greater works that Jesus spoke of) through us!
I pray that what you read & hear on this site is a revelation of the life and love God has for you. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, your Lord & your King then seek Him right now. His face is always toward you and all you have to do is call upon Him to have life more abundantly!
HANDS UP!
This song came to me after our church held a joint service with a sister church, who had to travel over an hour to get to our building. Arriving as we were singing "Lift up your head, Open the doors, Let the King of Glory come in" (Hillsong's "Glory"),they flooded into our sanctuary with their hands up, not even waiting until they got to their seats to start praising God! This was an awesome display of how, as saints of the Most High, we come into, through and out of every circumstance in life as overcomers...with our HANDS UP!
